STAC Alumni Association is a group of all Catholic Students who passed through the four walls of the great University of Ilorin and attended the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Chaplaincy (STACC) and also participated in the popular Nigeria Federation of Catholic Students (NFCS) activities
Annual Anniversary
STAC Alumni was founded on the 27th day of May, 2001. As such, our anniversary is commemorated annually.
Annual Seminar
We normally have an Annual Seminar usually in the month of August in order to discuss pressing national or religious issues. This helps broaden our horizon.
Annual Thanksgiving
This is held within the zone, on January 28th, which is the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas, where we all go to church to offer thanksgiving to God for making us see the new year.
Lenten Retreat
The lenten retreat is done during the lenten season across the zones, members are encouraged to always participate in this spiritual exercise in order to draw closer to God.
Home Coming of all Alumni Members
STAFARE which is the acronym for STac Alumni FAmily REunion is an event that unites all alumni members together. It is usually organised towards the end of the year precisely in November. This event tends to see all alumni members returning back to their alma mater the great University of Ilorin where issues and business opportunities are being discussed, the growth of the home chaplaincy and encouragement of the young students called the NFCSers are also major reasons for the home coming.
